Skate with Your Mom Day. We know that kids love to skate, but what if skateboarding became a great way for families to do something fun and different together. Embrace your inner child and hop on a skateboard. This session is for everyone.

First 50 to attend enjoys free coffee from @buddiesbk

@Vansskate will be hosting a giveaway for the first 50 mom’s / guardians attending

Free lessons, skate games, portrait photos.

Bring your used decks to give back and if you need a board @boardsforbrosny will be on hand to help offer something you can ride.

We were so proud last week to collaborate with @haroldhunterfoundation and @nikelab_official @nikeSB.We continue to shepherd our #nycskateparks in bringing the skate community together.  The mission of the BSG is one of activism, sustainability and positivity.  We love bringing together an all-inclusive environment for skaters of all ages.  
It didn’t take much for everyone to pick up a broom, start weeding and clean up our beloved FatKid @goldondaskatepark. Changes happen when the entire community gets involved.

The Pablo Ramirez Foundation + Brooklyn Skate Garden FREE Mural Planning Workshop in partnership with The Old Stone House at MS 51 Washington Skatepark 10 am-12 noon. Do you love skateboarding and street art? Have you ever imagined tagging, spray painting or painting your ideas on a large skate park wall for everyone to see? Do something to make a difference and shape the way our skateparks look by getting involved. Come learn how to design and create the 1st BSG Art mural dedicated to the late skater Pablo Ramirez @psplifff . This workshop will be led by artist and skateboarder Eric Friedensohn (@efdot) and @LolaTheIllustrator Come learn about the mural making process and what it takes to make one. NOTE: We won't be painting the mural, but planning it. You will be able to draw and paint your ideas on paper, PLUS you can take them home and share with your friends and family. Skate and clean up session afterwards weather permitting. Wake up early, space will be be limited RSVP Free Breakfast + Hot Chocolate generously provided by @naturallydeliciousnyc
